The West Newton Cemetery is one of the most beautiful and well kept cemeteries in the state of Pennsylvania.

The Rhododendron in the cemetery are huge and the trees are aged with the beauty that only time can provide. Established in the early 1800's, the cemetery is rich in history. The park-link tranquility makes it a great place for a long stroll after breakfast.

Each year the cemetery association hosts the "Avenue of the Flags" Memorial Day Service. During the weeks leading up to the service, hundreds of full-sized American flags line the streets of the cemetery. Each is dedicated to a veteran. The display is breath-taking and should be experienced by those both young and old.
