The house build over the waterfall is a must see when near this area. Built by request of Edgar J. Kaufmann, Fallingwater shows Frank Lloyd Wright's style in all of it glory and demonstrates how Wright changed and influenced architecture forever. The home, which is surrounded by the natural beauty found only in the hills of Southwestern Pennsylvania, blends naturally into the rocks, stream and trees and looks like it has always been there. Kentuck Knob Another masterpieces created by America's favorite architect is Located just 5 minutes from Fallingwater. Frank Lloyd Wright's house on Kentuck Knob is the perfect precursor to you visit to Fallingwater. Build in the last decade of Wright's career, this home is known as the child of Fallingwater. The secluded area where this home is located opens to a breath-taking vista overlooking the 800 acres which make up the property. While here you can visit our other near by attractions: including the the Yough River Trail (YRT) and the Great Allegheny Passage trail (GAP) or spend the day at the Greater Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival here in West Newton.
