Hosting your web site Once your domain name is registered and your site is designed you are going to need a place to park your site. A web site host is a computer which will serve up your web site at demand any time of the day or night. Emerald Internet will set your page up with a host server free of charge when designing your site, however, there is a monthly charge for hosting service. The price of hosting for most sites is $10.00 /month. Sites that have excessive traffic, extremely large files or need the use of cgi-bin files and executable server side programming will need to be priced on an individual basis. A standard secure shopping cart, hosted through Emerald Forms secure server, is and additional $10.00/month. Forms can be added to you site using Form-Mail for an additional $5/month. Hosting fees can be paid monthly, quarterly or yearly. We also offer the ability to pay by credit card using our online payment form |
